Happy Hour - Kickback for Creatives
Thanks to everyone that came out to the first Kickback for Creatives!
A huge thanks to Varsity Visuals behind the lens and Kmor and DJ GS holding it down w/me behind the boards.
I was really excited to bring some of my favorite people and creative talents together in a way that didn’t feel stuffy and forced. I’m sure a lot of y’all, like me, cringe at the word “networking”.

I’ll level with you and share that this event won’t return to Spice. The owners are great but complaints from the neighbors (volume and explicit rap music) means the kicback will be hosted at a different location.
No adjusting and editing the event’s purpose - a platform for creative expression and connection.
I can’t thank you enough for showing support and the great feedback. Not sure where I’m taking my melanated talents to but this is where I insert the ubiquitous “stay tuned”.
